A logical inference, respective of an infiltration of the U.S. government is that the psychologist is trying to communicate that MKultra (German, mind kontrol), the secret CIA program exposed by the Church commission in the 1970's through congressional investigation had somehow disabled her from examining dissociation and repression of memory. Repression was also not in the index.
